Carlo Ancelotti has been officially kicked out of the Napoli manager’s chair, just a few hours after taking the club to win the final match of the European Champions League group phase against Genk and qualify for the last 16. Napoli itself has found a successor, none other than Gennaro Gattuso, but on the one hand Ancelotti has still not found a new club.
Not that there are no options, due to the fact that there are three Premier League teams that are currently said to be looking for a brand-new manager, and these three could be the goals of this famous Italian manager. Anyone? Below are 3 English Premier League clubs that could be Carlo Ancelotti’s option.
It is common knowledge that Arsenal are looking for a new manager. They fired Unai Emery two weeks ago. Whereas Freddie Ljunberg, who was appointed as caretaker manager, did not perform well. In three matches, he was only able to offer one win, losing once and drawing once. With Arsenal’s greatness and history, Ancelotti could consider the north London club as the next destination.
In addition to Arsenal, Everton is one of the Premier League clubs that appear messy at the beginning of this season. They even dropped to 14th in the standings which finally led to the sacking of Marco Silva from the manager’s chair. Ancelotti could consider the opportunity to become the new manager of the Toffees, in terms of player material and club finances, the goal is quite tempting.
3. West Ham United
West Ham is currently still led by Manuel Pellegrini. However, the performance of the Hammers under the manager from Chile is very disappointing. Mark Noble and colleagues currently slumped in 16th in the Premier League standings. They are only one point away from the relegation zone. Looking at West Ham’s achievements so far, Pellegrini is certainly under enormous pressure. Ancelotti can replace Pelelgrini at London Stadium.
Of course, besides the three clubs there are still other options for Don Carletto in other countries, such as Spain, France, or maybe staying in Italy.
