After Rugani, Blaise Matuidi tests positive with COVID-19

Defending champions Italy Serie A, Juventus have found two cases of Corona or COVID-19. After defender Daniele Rugani, it is now the turn of veteran midfielder Blaise Matuidi who has contracted the plague.

As is known, the Coronavirus Outbreak did spread quickly on the European Continent. Italy is the worst affected country with more than 10 thousand cases found so far.

Since the Corona outbreak penetrated Italy, almost all sectors have died. How come? The government encourages its people to quarantine themselves by staying at home and restricting interaction with others.

Preventive measures have been taken, but still there are football players who have been exposed to this virus. One of them happened to the Juventus player, Daniele Rugani. And after a week has passed, there is another Juventus player who is also infected, he is Blaise Matuidi.

Initially, the French National Team Midfielder showed no signs that he was infected after the quarantine process. However, the results of medical tests showed that the 32-year-old player was indeed positively infected by corona.

“Blaise Matuidi conducted a test, and it was found that he was positive corona-COVID-19. Matuidi on March 11th, she did quarantine herself. We will continue to conduct intensive monitoring, “the Juventus statement said.

Through a short video, Matuidi claimed not to know at first that he also contracted. No symptoms were felt, so the former Paris Saint-Germain player was quite surprised to hear that he was positive for the corona virus.

“At first I did not know, and I did not think this was how it felt, how dangerous it was, and I also did not know that it would spread very quickly,” Matuidi said through a video.

Matuidi is the last Italian Serie A player to be infected with this Corona Virus. Previously there were seven players who had been infected, including Daniele Rugani. Here is the complete list.
