Allegri hopes CR7’s controversial celebration is free from punishment

Massimiliano Allegri hopes that Juventus mega star, Cristiano Ronaldo will not get a punishment from UEFA, regarding his ‘viral’ celebrations which he did in the last 16 of Champions League second leg match against Atletico Madrid.

In this prestigious match, Ronaldo once again proved his capacity as the best player of all time to successfully score three goals against Jan Oblak. Ronaldo’s hat trick also presented a Champions League quarter-final ticket to Juventus and prepared to against Ajax Amsterdam.

Ronaldo’s success in responding to the scorn of Atletico Madrid supporters and Diego Simeone also issued an action “holding his private part”. For that action, UEFA has reportedly been investigating Ronaldo’s controversial celebration.

When the investigation proved correct, Ronaldo was predicted to miss the quarter-final match between Juventus against Ajax Amsterdam. However, Allegri remains optimistic that the star will be free from sanctions.

“Certainly not. I think everyone celebrates in their own way in the field and in the audience. I don’t see anything strange, just a celebration. There will be no sanctions, “Allegri said.

Allegri also touched on Juventus’ comebacks over Atletico Madrid. According to him, his team managed to comeback because they were in good condition and balanced in mental and physical.

“First leg match was a mistake, and we haven’t reached the final. We must always step slowly. We are in good condition both physically and mentally. “I have to congratulate our team on the calmness and clarity of mind they have when we are 1-0 and 2-0 ahead,” Allegri concluded.
