Arsenal ready to hijack AS Roma Sporting Director

One big step is being prepared by the English Premier League giants, Arsenal in preparation for next season’s transfer market. One way is to try to hijack the AS Roma sporting director, Monchi.

Investigating, Arsenal prepared Monchi for their technical director. This position was previously occupied by Sven Mislintat who had the task as the main actor in overseeing the circulation of the transfer market.

Sven’s position is now empty because he decided to leave on February 8 yesterday. Arsenal legend, Marc Overmars was predicted to be a substitute, but Monchi’s name is considered as an experienced person in this field.

In order to realize his ambition, Arsenal has prepared funds of around 1 million Euros to release the value of the contract stated on the Monchi with Rome. Arsenal’s opportunity was quite open, where Roma reportedly ready to release the Monchi and will find a replacement.

If it were really going to happen, Monchi would be reunited with Arsenal coach Unai Emery. It is known that both of these figures had worked together in the success of Sevilla to dominate the Europa League.

The Arsenal camp must move quickly in an effort to get Monchi’s signature, because many clubs are also interested in him. And one of the most persistent clubs is Paris Saint Germain, and Manchester United which is claimed to be ready to fight freely in getting Monchi service.

Referring to Monchi’s career, his name was indeed not as brilliant as Beppe Marotta who was once Juventus Sports Director and now arrived at Inter Milan. However, his figure cannot be underestimated because the results he has proven are in Sevilla.

Monchi was recorded as Sevilla’s historic person in bringing forth European stars, including building a team that successfully won the Europa League five times. Moving to Rome in the 2017-2018 season, Monchi again proved his capacity as an important person because he managed to bring in many players such as Nicolo Zaniolo, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Justin Kluivert to Bryan Cristante.
