Arteta admits Aubameyang’s contract negotiation still stalling over

The future of the Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still bleak. Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta confirmed that so far the process of negotiating the player’s new contract is still incomplete.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 30, is actually a crucial player for Arsenal. He performed very nicely in the attack line of the Gunners where last season he won the Premier League golden boot title as top scorer.

However, the fact that the club was unable to compete at the top level and always failed to win tickets to the European Champions League is believed to make Aubameyang think to leave.

This issue had spread last winter, but in the end the former Saint-Etienne player chose to stay.

However, along with the 2019/20 campaign which will soon end, Aubameyang’s future is being discussed again. Moreover, the contract will soon end in 2021.

If there is no new contract agreement, then Aubameyang has the potential to go on the next transfer market.

In this regard, coach Mikel Arteta acknowledged that the polemic of the Aubameyang contract must be taken seriously.

“We have to solve this problem immediately before the season ends,” Arteta was quoted as saying by Sportsmole.

Arteta also could not argue that until now the discussion about the new contract was still incomplete.

“We will try to equate our intentions with their intentions. Right now we are still negotiating on this contract issue. ”

If only the former Borussia Dortmund player leaves, it’s clear this is a loss for Arsenal. Because, Mikel Arteta considers Aubameyang as a crucial player for the Gunners. Therefore, the interpreter wants the 30-year-old striker to stay afloat.

“For the time being, I find it difficult to predict where this discussion will take place. But for me personally everything is quite simple. I want to keep it going no matter what,” he said.

Aubameyang himself is reportedly currently in communication with several top European clubs. Two of them are the Spanish La Liga giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona who are in need of a prolific striker.
