The arrival of new coach, Maurizio Sarri, seems to be a blessing for the Spanish striker, Pedro Rodriguez, because the former Barcelona player has officially extended his contract together with the English Premier League giants. The new contract will bind the player until 2020.
Pedro Rodriguez, 31, joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer transfer market 2015. At first, the concerned did agree on a four-year contract at Stamford Bridge, but it was doubtful that it would last longer, because manager Antonio Conte in the past two years also rarely relied on Pedro.
Not surprisingly, the issue of his departure in the summer transfer market has appeared. But along with the arrival of Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea who was trusted to replace Antonio Conte, Pedro Di Chelsea’s future became brighter. Chelsea through their director Marina Granovskaia was delighted to have Pedro’s contract extension.

Meanwhile, the former Barcelona player also admitted that he was very happy with the club’s decision to add to his term. He was also impatient and enthusiastic about undergoing a new season campaign with the Blues under the direction of a new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
