Christian Pulisic admits he has rarely played since Tuchel signed for Chelsea

The arrival of Thomas Tuchel as the new manager to replace Frank Lampard seems to be a positive breeze for Chelsea, but not so for one of their players, Christian Pulisic who is starting to rarely get the chance to appear.

As is known, Thomas Tuchel started to deal with Chelsea since the end of January, where he was trusted to replace Frank Lampard who was sacked following a series of negative results obtained by the Blues.

The change in the coaching chair is really a positive thing for Chelsea, which can be seen from the results obtained in all competitions. In fact, in the last 10 matches, Chelsea have not swallowed even a defeat.

In short, the presence of this German coach brings advantages for Chelsea, but on the one hand it has become a disaster for some players, such as Christian Pulisic.

Since Tuchel’s arrival, the United States midfielder has rarely had the opportunity to play, even though Pulisic has fully recovered from injury.

Speaking of that, the former Borussia Dortmund player cannot deny that he is disappointed, but on the one hand he sees it as a challenge to do even better and claim a place in the first team.

“This is not an easy thing. It’s clear that I am a person who always wants to play. But it looks like I am on the very right path,”

“I like to face challenges. I am happy, not to prove that people have misjudged, but to prove that I am right. So I just need to continue to train hard,” he said as quoted by Metro.

Meanwhile, Pulisic is currently with the United States National Team to play at the International break. Pulisic is delighted with his return with his team-mates, forgetting for a moment what happened at Chelsea.

“Following this camp, I really can’t wait to get more playing time and defend my country,”

“Regardless of what is happening at club level, I feel very happy to be here and excited to represent this symbol again,” added the 22-year-old.
