Guardiola denies will bring Mbappe to Manchester City

Manchester City’s coach, Pep Guardiola firmly denied the news claiming that he would try to bring in French young star, Kylian Mbappe from PSG in the transfer market next summer. The Spanish coach claimed to be surprised from where this issue came.

As is well known, Kylian Mbappe did take attention through its brilliant performances with Paris Saint-Germain in the campaign last season. Even the 19-year-old star’s brilliant performance continued at the 2018 World Cup along with the French National team. At that time, Mbappe successfully packed 4 goals, delivering Les Bleus to win the 4-year competition.

No wonder, if in this summer transfer market, Mbappe was linked to a number of European giants, including Premier League champions, Manchester City. Pep Guardiol claimed to be attracted by the talent and appearance that Mbappe possessed, unfortunately the young winger decided to stay on PSG. However, the former Barcelona’s coach is believed to not stop there, Pep claimed to be back trying to bring Mbappe to Etihad in the summer transfer market this year.

Unfortunately, the issue was later denied by the person at a press conference ahead of the match against Hoffenheim. In fact, Pep admitted to being surprised, where the public got the rumor.

“It will not happen. Sometimes I don’t understand where the news comes from. City will not spend adequate funds for Mbappe and PSG. PSG will not sell him, I guess. He did not come here and we will not exchange with anyone. We will not exchange for Raheem or other top players we have. People should be more respectful to my players, and to the players of other teams,” told Guardiola to the reporters
