Hazard wants a move to Madrid to win Ballon d’Or

Ballon d’Or is a tribute to the world’s best players, or in other terms, Ballon d’Or is a trophy coveted by almost every football player today. In fact, Chelsea’s mainstay midfielder, Eden Hazard also acknowledged his interest in the award which might make him desire a career in the Spanish La Liga.

No wonder this trophy is desired by almost every football player, including Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard. Well, the last ten winners of the Ballon d’Or came from La Liga and when asked whether it was necessary to move to Spain to make it happen, Hazard replied:

“That’s why I want to move, maybe.”

However, when he got another question about the opportunity to leave Chelsea in January, this 27-year-old player answered

“Nope.”

Hazard enjoyed the start of the 2018/19 season full of sharpness, packing 8 goals in 10 matches for Chelsea and his latest performance makes him confident of being the world’s best player despite the need for development.
