Chelsea’s brand-new midfielder, Jorginho, doesn’t seem to have significant difficulties when he has to adapt to the environment and new colleagues in England, as he moves to Stamford Bridge this summer. Jorginho acknowledged a significant difference between the Premier League and Italian Serie A.
As is known, this 26-year-old midfielder was officially redeemed by Chelsea from Napoli in the summer transfer window this year with no less than 57 million Euros. With the fact, that previously he was the mainstay of Maurizio Sarri while still playing for Napoli, Jorginho was again a mainstay of Chelsea who was coached by the Italian manager.
As far as four Premier League matches that have taken place, Jorginho remains a Starter subscription. He also felt a fairly noticeable difference between the English Premier League and Italian Serie A, and felt quite easy to adapt to the Premier League.
“The difference between Premier League and Serie A? You have to experience it to understand that, there is a training center with 38 football fields and I think that also tells you many things.”
“Serie A is still a beautiful and attractive league, one that is followed throughout the world. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo is even more profitable, and I hope I can come back someday. There are differences in rhythm and physicality in the Premier League, I adjusted well. I like it, the game is played at high tempo. The Premier League is really beautiful,” said Jorginho in the press conference at Coverciano.
Jorginho, 26, has played for Napoli for five years, and throughout that period, he managed to pack no less than 160 caps and scored 6 goals including in all competitions.
