Juventus Sports Director Fabio Paratici has not ruled out the possibility that the Bianconneri squad will not change next season. In other words, Juve will not buy new players in the upcoming transfer market.
The soccer competition is currently suspended, none other than the cause is the Corona Virus Pandemic. Because of this policy, the club cannot get fresh funds from the sale of match tickets.
While on the other hand, the club is still required to pay off the salaries of the players, employees, coaches and club staff. Finally, several clubs implement a policy of cutting player salaries, Juventus is one of the originators.
They have agreed to cut player salaries up to 50%, including Cristiano Ronaldo who is known as the highest-paid player in Serie A at the moment. However, of course the Juventus problem does not stop there.
Furthermore, the club’s Sport Director Fabio Paratici acknowledged that there is also a possibility that Maurizio Sarri’s direction will not change in the 2020/21 season.
“Some people say that we can play the 2020/21 season with the same squad? That’s a possibility, “Paratici said when meeting with Sky Sport Italia.
However, the successor of Beppe Marotta did not necessarily fly the white flag. The reason is, there are other options that can be considered such as loaning players or exchanging with other clubs.
“I think the next transfer market session will be more creative and elastic. We have to monitor it day by day, because the situation and views on a number of things change constantly,”
“Between us saying we will return to play soon or not, we want to start training and after that cancel. We are still in balance, so we must be elastic with our plans, “he concluded.
As for lately, the defending champions of the Italian Serie A are also believed to be eyeing young Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo and are determined to repatriate Pogba from Manchester United.
Bianconneri is even claimed to be negotiating with Barcelona regarding the possibility of Arthur Melo’s exchange with Miralem Pjanic. Paratici had hinted that the news was indeed true.
But of course, everything will be revealed in the upcoming transfer market edition next summer.
