Kylian Mbappe won’t play against Atalanta

Paris Saint-Germain found bad news about one of its flagship stars, Kylian Mbappe. The French winger certainly could not appear in the match against Atalanta in the Champions League next month.

Last time, Mbappe appeared in a match against Saint-Etienne in the French Cup final match last weekend. In that match, Les Parisiens managed to win with a thin score of 1-0.

Mbappe played since the first minute, even he also inspired PSG’s single goal scored by Neymar. But the former AS Monaco was unable to complete the match because of an injury.

The player found a brutal tackle from one of the Saint-Etienne players, where the incident had caused a commotion between the players of both camps.

The French winger looked so painful that he had to leave the field on a stretcher.

Mbappe’s condition became slightly bad when he using walking aids when he celebrated the championship with the other players.

Earlier this week, PSG finally confirmed that Mbappe’s right ankle was sprained and there was a ligament injury on the outside. As a result of this injury, PSG estimates that Mbappe must be pulled over for approximately the next three weeks.

If it is true that the three weeks of time that it took 21 years meant he would not be able to go down in the first leg of the European Champions League last eight against Atalanta

As is known, PSG has already qualified for the quarter-finals after getting rid of Borussia Dortmund. The match against Atalanta itself will take place on 12 August, or the next two weeks.

This news is clearly a crushing blow for PSG who are ambitious to win the Champions League for the first time in history. The reason, Mbappe is one of the players that they rely on these last three seasons.

Even so, if PSG successfully escapes, Mbappe still has a chance to play in the semifinals and finals.

Before facing Atalanta, Paris Saint-Germain will face Olympique Lyon in the French League Cup Final this weekend. Certainly, Mbappe also missed the match.
