Maurizio Sarri commented on their defeat from AC Milan

Juventus surprisingly surrendered from AC Milan in the 31st match of the Italian Serie A this season.

In the match that took place at the San Siro Stadium, the true guest team had superior first through goals from Adrien Rabiot and Cristiano Ronaldo. But things have become a nightmare for Juventus at the end of the match.

In just 18 minutes in the second half, AC Milan scored four goals through Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Franck Kessie, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao. With these four goals, Stefano Pioli’s troops turned 4-2 ahead.

Of course this is disappointing for Juventus, but fortunately they remain firmly on top of the standings with a 7 point advantage over Lazio. The reason is, the closest rival also surrendered in the hands of Lecce on the same day.

However, this defeat was surprising because Juventus were in a positive trend before. Coach Maurizio Sarri thinks that his players are experiencing blackouts aka losing focus suddenly.

“I think we played classy for the first 60 minutes. We totally control the game and then experience this ‘blackout’,”

“We experienced a total blackout of 15 minutes. That also happened to other teams in this period. “We have to take the positive side of this match, which is we have full control for an hour,” Sarri said in a press conference after the match to the DAZN.

But it seems that the interpreter of the tactics understand that, because according to him the players lose focus because of the weather in Italy which is so hot.

“I have seen many teams that have experienced the same ‘blackout’, caused by unusual situations and practicing at this temperature, with many close matches,” he said.

What is clear, right now Juventus must really focus on the next matches.

“This is really different from the defeat of Verona and Napoli, so we have to focus on the next game,” concluded the former Chelsea coach.

Next, a tough opponent must also be faced by Juventus. They will be against Atalanta, a team that is in a positive trend lately.
