Harry Kane was later widely rumored to leave Tottenham Hotspur with a number of European giants associated with the player. But Arsenal legend, Martin Keown suggested the England national team players to survive.
The name Harry Kane has recently become a byword of British media. Nothing else about his future at Tottenham Hotspur which is still ‘gray’. Kane is certainly loved by Tottenham fans, but the club is not strong enough to compete in the title race.
Compared to its quality, Harry Kane feels that Spurs are far from enough. And it must be admitted, Kane performed brilliantly, during Tottenham’s costume he scored 181 goals in 278 appearances. Unfortunately, the club never won a prestigious title.
The best achievement of the North London club so far is reaching the European Champions League final, precisely in the campaign last season. Because of this, Harry Kane was rumored to want to move from Tottenham.
So far, there are at least two teams associated with the 27-year-old figure including Manchester United and Real Madrid. However, Martin Keown advised Kane to stay first at Tottenham, because right now he is not in the best condition.
“He must return to his best after injury. He needs a match, support from the surroundings and maybe enough patience. He will get it with Tottenham,”
“Maybe in six months, once he scores again, then we can return to discussing this topic in the future,” Keown told MailSport.
Spurs themselves are currently handled by Jose Mourinho. Indeed, there has not been significant progress shown by Spurs under Mourinho’s direction, only the fact that the former Chelsea coach only came in mid-season.
Means, Mourinho still needs time, especially he has not brought in the players he wants in the transfer market.
“We can also judge whether Spurs look more ambitious under Jose Mourinho or not. For now, I say Kane must survive, “he concluded.
Currently, Tottenham are ranked 8th in the standings. They are still far from the big four that became the main target.
