Pep Guardiola affirmed his commitment at Manchester City

The Spanish coach, Pep Guardiola, has recently reiterated his commitment with the Premier League giants, Manchester City, having previously been trusted not to be back to the club next season. It is said by the former Bayern Munich coach, that he will stay at the Etihad if everything goes well, but so far Pep is quite happy with his work at the English club.

As is known, Pep Guardiola has started managing Manchester City since the summer of 2016. When it is concerned the status of free transfer or free of contract, after no longer extend his contract with Bayern Munich. In his inaugural season at the Etihad, Pep failed to present the title, only able to bring City to finish 2nd place in the Premier League final standings.

But, in the 2nd season or the 2017/18 season, the former Barcelona successful coach managed to present the Premier League title, even finishing with a 20-point advantage over nearest rivals, Manchester United. Although, it looks fine at Manchester City, many people claim that Pep will not survive in th Etihad next season, even if the person concerned has received an extension of the new contract.

Moreover, recently, Pep had expressed his desire to handle the National Team.

“Sooner or later this will happen, if I have a chance with the national team,” said the former Barcelona coach.

However, through his latest statement, Pep tried to convince the public of his commitment together with Manchester City. The former Barcelona player admitted he would be very happy to stay at the club if everything went well.

“I said many times that I have a contract here and, if this goes well, I can extend the contract here. Everyone has dreams. When I was little I had a dream. Some you achieve, some don’t. Many things can happen. Maybe in the future this can happen [training the national team], maybe in the future I will change my mind. I am fully committed to my work here,” said Guardiola at a press conference on Friday.
