Raheem Sterling absent from National Team due to a back injury

The British National Team has won a list of the squad they will take to play throughout the international break in early September. There are several names of players who missed defending The Three Lions, including one of them is the fast Winger, Raheem Sterling. However, based on news that has just been heard, the former Liverpool player is apparently suffering from a back injury, so he cannot play with the England national team.

Raheem Sterling has indeed been a subscription to the British National team since his appearance with Liverpool in 2014. Then he continued to grow to become one of the best winger in the Premier League, since joining Liverpool in the summer transfer market in 2015. He helped the club win the Premier League title in the 2017/18 campaign.

Sterling was involved in the last two England international teams, including Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup. With his appearance that is still consistent, Sterling is certainly a consideration for the England national team for the international break in early September. But the fact is that Sterling’s name was not included in Gareth Southgate’s release squad, even though he was involved in last weekend’s match against Newcastle United, he even scored in the party.

Well it seems that Raheem Sterling is experiencing a back injury, where he actually got the injury at the end of the match against The Maghpies.

Coach Gareth Southgate included names such as Luke Shaw, Joe Gomez, James Tarkowski, Adam Lallana and Alex McCarthy.

England will host Spain at Wembley on Saturday (8/9) next, before facing Switzerland at the King Power Stadium a few days later. This is their first match since reaching the 2018 World Cup semi-finals this summer.
