The Argentine striker, Sergio Aguero harvests flattery after packing two goals in Manchester City’s win over Chelsea in the FA Community Shield last week (5/08). According to Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, the former Atletico Madrid is better than Harry Kane.
As is known, Manchester City as the Premier League champion is indeed dealing with Chelsea who was the FA Cup champion last season to fight for the FA Community Shield title. In that match, Sergio Aguero managed to become the main star of the match through two goals scored against the Blues.
Manchester City made it out as a winner, while Chelsea were unable to catch up with two goals until the game ended. After the match, Aguero received praise from various parties, not only from his coach Pep Guardiola, but also from Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand.
In fact, the former defender of the England national team judged that Aguero had proved his quality was better than Harry Kane who recently performed brilliantly with Tottenham Hotspur. According to him, Aguero is a player who can produce goals in many ways, and with any body part. This was also proven by Aguero through the 201 goals he had posted for Manchester City so far.
“Getting 200 league goals for Manchester City is a phenomenal amount, and I think he is the best striker in the Premier League. He is the most difficult player I have to fight, with fantastic movement, speed and awareness.”
“In the case of someone who is hard to resist, he is able to create many things from both feet, and with his movements and speed, he offers all kinds of problems. Kane is a great player, but Aguero surpassed him, “he told BT Sport.
Last season, Aguero himself ‘only’ scored 21 goals in the Premier League, behind nine goals from Harry Kane who scored 30 goals for Tottenham Hotspur.
