A draw against Manchester United put Chelsea out of second place in the Premier League standings, where they are now in 3rd place, 2 points behind Liverpool and Manchester City who are both at the top of the current standings.
But, the Blues are still likely to take over the position again when they travel to Turf moor stadium against host Burnley in the Premier League this week, Sunday 28 October 2018.
As the host, Burnley do not lack motivation to win in the match, other than because they will play on their own home of course. Burnley in their last five matches in all competitions were only able to package two wins and swallow two defeats.
A series of bad results have also been obtained by Sean Dhyce’s landing team since the first week of the Premier League. They even only collected 8 points from nine matches that have taken place and are now sitting in 12th place in the standings.
On paper, it can be said that no one is seeded from Burnley in the match, instead Chelsea excel in various sectors. Such as, player composition, statistics and head to head matches record. The Blues at the beginning of this season looked promising, they collected 21 points from 9 matches that have taken place, which means the Blues have not swallowed their first defeat.
Under the direction of brand-new manager Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea successfully packed no fewer than four wins from their last five games and held back a draw, precisely in the match against Manchester United last weekend.
