Spain becomes a new destination for AS Roma to search new coaches

The summer transfer market 2019-2020 does not seem to want to be wasted by the big Italian Serie A club, AS Roma, who flew to Spain in an effort to get a new coach, to navigate the heat of next season’s competition.

The latest claim states that the attitude of Roma leads to the figure of Getafe coach, Jose Pepe Bordalas who is considered suitable to be their coach next season. The Roma’s move was seen after they fired Eusebio Di Francesco from Allenatore’s seat in March.

On that condition, I Lupi was forced to appoint Claudio Ranieri to be a temporary coach until the end of the season. When Roma failed to occupy the position of the top four, Ranieri was not extended and preferred to look for a new coach figure.

Roma were attracted to Bordalas because they were able to provide a developmental performance at Getafe, who appeared surprisingly in the La Liga 2018-2019 season. The Spanish black horse team was able to finish in the top five and managed to play in the Europa League stage next season.

The success with Getafe was not the first, before Bordalas had also participated in leading Alaves to win promotion tickets to La Liga. Before the name Bordalas, Roma had been linked to two names of experienced coaches, such as Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri.

However, rumors of these two big coaches were impossible to happen, as Conte was officially with Inter Milan, while Sarri stayed at Chelsea or moved to Juventus. Do not stop there, Roma have the greatest potential to get the services of Gian Piero Gasperini, who successfully brought Atalanta to finish in fourth place.

That success provides certainty that for the first time Atalanta played in the Champions League stage next season. But until now there has been no certainty, the latest news says if the coach is ready to survive at Atalanta.

Then, the name Bardalas became the most possible for Roma, because the process has not proceeded yet, and it was predicted that the coach would be interested in feeling the hot atmosphere of the Italian Serie A next season.
