Real Madrid are believed to be separating from Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season. To replace the French legend, Los Blancos will try to approach Massimilliano Allegri.
Massimilliano Allegri himself has been unemployed for almost a year. As of when he resigned from his post as coach of Juventus last summer.
Not that there was no offer, but after handling Juventus for the past five seasons, he decided to rest. Allegri even guaranteed to return to work as a coach in the upcoming 2020/21 season.
However, about which clubs will be handled by the former AC Milan coach has not been revealed. Speculation, there are several names associated with Allegri. Among Chelsea, Barcelona, or returning to Juventus.
Now, the latest report from Marca claims that there are new enthusiasts for Allegri’s services. The coach is rumored to be invited to become a coach of Real Madrid next summer.
Still from the same report, Real Madrid are considering firing their current manager, Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season. There are at least two reasons why the French legend was deported.
The first is because Real Madrid’s performance has tended to decline in recent weeks. Not only that, Zidane was also claimed to aim for a position as coach of the French national team. Therefore, Los Blancos felt the need to plan to recruit a new manager.
Real Madrid management is reportedly interested in hiring Allegri after seeing his track record. He is considered a very successful coach in Italy. This was proven by the many championship trophies he won with Juventus.
During his five seasons with the Bianconneri, Allegri won five consecutive Italian Serie A trophies, several other domestic titles and twice made it to the European Champions League Final.
In addition, Allegri is also considered capable of controlling players labeled stars. That’s why they think the Italian coach is suitable to be their new coach.
However, it is not only Allegri that Real Madrid is considering for the manager’s chair next season. They also considered the name of the manager from Argentina, Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Espanyol coach has been unemployed since being kicked out by Tottenham in November 2019.
