Tottenham Hotspur should really consider the possibility of signing Gareth Bale in the transfer market this summer. According to the former player, Harry Redknapp.
The name of Gareth Bale has indeed begun to emerge since he was still wearing Tottenham Hotspur’s shirt. His good performance led the North London Team to achieve various things including penetrating the European Champions League.
After showing the player’s neat performance, Real Madrid immediately felt attracted. Los Blancos then made Bale become the world’s most expensive player in 2013, his price was up to 100 million Euro from Spurs at the time.
At first, the Welsh player performed well with Real Madrid, he even immediately led the La Liga club to win the Copa Del Rey and the European Champions League.
But unfortunately, the situation now turned sad. Bale is now not included in coach Zinedine Zidane’s plans. He only made 20 appearances in all competitions last season.
In other words, the player’s situation should be favorable for enthusiasts, including Tottenham Hotspur, to sign him this summer. The same thing was said by Harry Redknapp.
“Of the possible objectives, if Bale returns to Tottenham to work with a lively forward line, you can see the Spurs will do serious damage,” Redknapp told The Sun.
If you look at the current squad, Bale can team up with top players like Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli under the direction of top coach Jose Mourinho.
Should, with such a combination, Tottenham will immediately enter the title competition next season.
“Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Bale. If that was my decision, I would have played all four together and backed off to watch them take off,”
“Bale can turn Tottenham from a European competitor to a contender for the Premier League title.” added Redknapp.
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to part ways with Gareth Bale this summer. They are even willing to cut the official price tag of the player, so that next season’s salary expenditure can be reduced.
