Zidane criticized by Colombian legend for sideline James

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was in the spotlight because of his decision to sideline James Rodriguez in the last two matches. Colombian legend Faustino Asprilia even criticized the French coach.

As is known, Dinihari WIB earlier (19/06), Real Madrid faced Valencia. In that match, Los Blancos won with a landslide score of 3-0, where two goals were scored by Karim Benzema, while one more goal was scored by Marco Asensio.

The tripoin is of course very valuable for Real Madrid, but the highlight of the match is the fact that James Rodriguez is sitting on the bench. That way, Zidane has dismissed the Colombian twice.

Many regretted why Zidane only made two substitutions, even though there were five opportunities to make changes. The decision seemed to reinforce the fact that Zidane did not need James anymore.

For this reason Faustino Asprilia as a Colombian National Team player looked upset, he highlighted manager Zinedine Zidane’s decision in the last two matches.

“James is not an irresponsible person. He practices every day like other players,”

“The coach said that everything is the same to motivate the reserve players, but they have three or four players who always play. At Real Madrid, there are players who come from below and come to the surface, “Asprilla told Blu Radio.

Furthermore, according to him Zidane should be more respectful to James who has proven himself as the 2014 World Cup top scorer. Patience has its limits, and if he were in James’s position, he might have cursed the tactician.

“Don’t tell me that the top scorer in the World Cup is under Mariano or whoever in the order. There must be a little respect. James is too patient, but I will tell Zidane to ‘just eat poop there’, “he concluded.

As a whole this season, James only recorded 16 appearances in all competitions with a collection of 1 goal and two assists. No wonder if his fate with Los Blancos began to be questioned by many parties.
